“In 40 Years” is a collaborative project by international artists, designers, programmers, and media activists, investigating the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the personalized perspective of a love relationship. The project explores an alternative strategy for individuals to intervene in the conflict by way of personal action, while highlighting its potentials and limitations at the same time.

“Alii bella gerunt, tu felix Austria nube” by Yael Bar-On and Ahmad
“Alii bella gerunt, tu felix Austria nube” is a documentation of the journey two artists from Israel and Palestine took, exploring the concept of “marriage” as a strategic alternative to the conflict. The project consists of a video installation and published works.
*The video installation, “to meet” by Manuela Macco, will also be presented in the show.
The video captures a level of unspoken emotions between the two people with curly hair, Palestinian and Israeli, through the process of meeting each other in a street in Italy.

A night of presentations on the theme of co-existence between Palestinians and Israelis. We are inviting everyone – artists, shopkeepers, activists, students, teachers, city officers, hair stylists, politicians – everyone who has creative ideas on this theme that need to be shared, discussed, and practiced. *An application was sent to obtain a permit for Ahmad one of the founders of Idioms Films, to be able to visit Israel and give a short lecture on the films. We are still waiting for an answer.
